May 5, 2021 · Well, truth be told, that’s exactly what Luigi Kemo Volo, a graphic designer and illustrator from Bacoli, Naples in Italy, wondered—so he set out to shoot pictures of himself in real life to infuse with images of everyone’s favorite Disney characters through digital photo manipulation tools and the results are both adorable and hilarious!

Anthony Jones. In what looks like oils, Anthony Jones paints one of our favorites, interpreting Mario and Luigi as refined old-style Italian men.
I feel like the person (or people) who worked on the promo art might not be the same person/people that were the art directors for the actual game. Not that it isn't possible that these images were all made by different people. But they seem very consistent as though it was all one person's work.
