In Scaris, we saw his insecurities, but it was played off as a joke and it was hard to take it seriously. We got to see a lot more of Cleo’s trust issues and insecurities with her mom and Amanita, and Mattel took it a lot more seriously, so it was a lot easier to sympathize with her. I also think Cleo didn’t get enough attention from Deuce.
