- Brad Kelley. Land Owned: 1.140 million acres. Brad Kelley is a Kentucky-based businessman who built his fortune by selling discounted cigarettes. He founded Commonwealth Brands, the manufacturer of USA Gold and Malibu cigarettes, and sold the company for $1 billion in 2001.
- Singleton Family. Land Owned: 1.1 million acres. Dr. Henry Singleton purchased San Cristobal Ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1986, thus laying the foundation of the Singleton Ranches.
- King Ranch Heirs. Land Owned: 911,000 acres. Located in between Corpus Christi and Brownsville, King Ranch is the biggest ranch in the United States. King Ranch was established in 1853 by Captain Richard King and Gideon K Lewis.
