  5. Sep 24, 1990 · Certainly Johnny Depp is an excellent actor, and the director David Koepp had written some wonderful screenplays (he also directed STIR OF ECHOES, which is one of my favorite haunted house flicks of all time). But the movie adaptation of SECRET WINDOW left a lot to be desired.
