Annie and the boys started their journey as steerage passengers aboard the S.S. Nevada, leaving Queenstown in County Cork, Ireland, on December 20, 1891.

Annie and her two younger brothers departed from Queenstown, Ireland on Dec. 20, 1891 and spent Christmas at sea during their 12-day journey.
