Aug 13, 2022 · To celebrate the 100 years since the formation of Colchester Angling Preservation Ltd (CAPS) in 1921. It seemed appropriate not only to have a record of its progress over the years but also to recognise the many members who have given their time to make it the well respected club it is today.
Approximately 12 miles from Colchester, between White Colne and Pebmarsh, this is a stream fed secluded 19 acre lake with large stocks of most species. Due to the water quality and conditions all species of fish stocked in this have grown and bred extremely well.

Lodge Farm Fishery is a relatively new facility located near St Osyth in Essex. It is easily reached from the local road networks and is managed by Colchester Angling Preservation Society (CAPS) who took on the site for development in 2005.
Safety. Anglers are not permitted to fish within restricted areas adjacent to overhead electric cables and must be at least 30 metres away from any source of electricity, and must not fish in any roped off areas. Members must not interfere with or abuse Society lifebuoys located on Society waters.
