The members of ASTRO were known as iTeen Boys while training as part of Fantagio iTeen, a rookie talent development program under the management agency Fantagio.
ASTRO was formed by the entertainment company Fantagio back in 2015. The members were part of their talent development program called iTeen. The final lineup consists of Jinjin, MJ, Moonbin, Cha Eunwoo, Sanha, and Rocky. Before their debut, the six of them took part in web drama To Be Continued.
