A good hook for a compare and contrast essay will immediately signal to the reader the subjects that are being compared and why they’re being compared.
Your essay should have a clear framework: a beginning (an introduction or introductory paragraphs), a middle (the ‘body’ of your argument), and an end (a conclusion or concluding paragraphs). Use paragraphs effectively and appropriately to structure your argument into a logical and persuasive sequence.
