   Is White Oleander (the book) good?

   • The book White Oleander was great, but there are a few discrepancies in the movie adaptation. For instance, Michelle Pfeiffer's character is an artist instead of a poet in the movie (perhaps a focus group error?). Noah Wyle's character's name was changed from Ron to Mark for unclear reasons. Most significantly, much was left out of the movie.
