Jul 17, 2024 · Today I replaced my factory monsoon radio with a new aftermarket Kenwood radio. There seems to be this static/white noise sound always going off even if the volume of the radio is set to 0.
Apr 13, 2015 · A very good noise barrier is dense acoustic foam laminated to both sides of a heavy limp membrane such as lead or mineral loaded vinyl. I fully treated a Beetle I owned, and at tickover the heating air coming through the screen vents was louder than the engine noise.
Jun 10, 2019 · On a nice long ride yesterday on both highway and back roads, pop outs open, wing windows open and door glass slightly rolled down, my 67 was very quiet and nice to drive. Louder than a modern car? Yes, but making the cabin quieter allows you to hear and appreciate the sound of your a/c VW. Music to my ears!!! _____ 1967 Beetle Northern NJ

Jun 21, 2012 · 8 inch sub jammed under the drivers seat and 2x6 inch speakers in the door cards. Plans: Relocate 6 inchers into footwell kick panels, get the head unit in a bit of wood to replace the plastic kick panel (don't want to cut that up) and find somewhere better for the sub.
