The Whirlybirds have been teaching a brother-sister act to fly so they can use a helicopter in their trapeze act. After his student returns from a solo flight Chuck finds evidence that connects him to a $200,000 armored truck robbery.
During a raging forest fire, Chuck and P.T. rescue three injured youths who had volunteered to battle the blaze. The young men react with such intense panic when they meet the doctor tending the wounded at the first aid station that the Whirlybirds become concerned for their safety.
111 x 25 minute episodes. PT Moore (Craig Hill) and Chuck Martin (Kenneth Tobey) were ex-American Air Force pilots operating a Bell helicopter charter service – the Whirlybird Service of Longwood Field, California (call sign Seven-Five-Bravo) – with some crime-fighting on the side, of course.
