- Underworld (2003) The film that kicked off the franchise is the cream of the crop. It's both a pleasant surprise and complete delight to spend two hours in the unique world that director Len Wiseman and writer Danny McBride have created.
- Underworld: Evolution (2006) Evolution is a solid continuation of the story from the first film. Beckinsale and Speedman reprise their roles of Selene and Michael, respectively, and the characters' deepening relationship amps the stakes amid the film's insane creature battle sequences and set pieces (the climax involving a helicopter is particularly bonkers).
