I like him because has the objective view and the imagination of a child which brings me back to childhood when I read him. Slaughterhouse 5 is a really good book but a bit different than other Vonnegut books. I would recommend Slapstick or Cat's Cradle to get a better feel, or some of his short stories. Reply.
