RoboCop was released into theaters on July 17th, 1987. Filming locations include Dallas, Tx. Filming ran from August 6th, 1986 to November 8th, 1986. It was directed by Paul Verhoeven, who also directed Sci-Fi genre films Total Recall, Starship Troopers and Hollow Man. Verhoeven also makes two cameos in the film.
