Apr 28, 2016 · The locations were kind of depressing. The dark, windowless mall with junky food court stands like Orange Julius. The prison like school campus. The streets were all double laned expressways lined with fast food joints, bail bondsman shops, abortion clinics, and video game arcardes. No wonder these kids lacked goals.
The mall had also been used in numerous other films including Commando, Terminator 2, Valley Girl & Innerspace. "Ridgemont High School" scenes were filmed at Van Nuys High School at 6535 Cedros Avenue in Van Nuys.
