III.1 Locations. III.1.1 Station 51. Station 51 was in actuality Station 127, is located on 223rd Street, east of Wilmington Avenue, in the City of Carson. Behind the station is the San Diego Freeway (Highway 405). Across the street is a major oil refinery and a chemical manufacturing plant. In the pilot episode, Station 51 was a new fire station.
