Oct 3, 2012 · It turns out the video was mostly filmed on the Hawaiian islands of Kauai and Oahu. The most eye-catching scene was filmed at the Maunawili Waterfall in Honolulu, where Mraz and his friends plunged into the natural pool below. No special effects or stunt doubles were used.

- Kahala – Hurley’s Mom’s House & Hurley’s House. In a fairly nice area of Oahu are row upon row of fabulous and large houses. It’s here where you can find the house Hurley bought for his mom.
- Lana’i Lookout – Parachute Landing. This lookout point offers views across the scenic countryside including mountainous landscapes on the south side of the island as well as sea views.
- Halona Beach Cove – The Blow Hole. At first glance, this is such a beautiful little alcove of a beach complete with golden sand, rocky backdrop and turquoise water.
