Tar Hollow State Park’s twisting park and forest roads pass through dense woodlands. Located in southeast Ohio, popular activities include camping, hiking, and wildlife watching.

Tar Hollow State Park is a public recreation area located five miles south of Laurelville, Ohio, in the United States. Surrounded by the foothills of the Appalachian Plateau, the state park is part of a larger protected complex with the adjoining Tar Hollow State Forest.
Parking and the trailhead are located near the dam spillway at Pine Lake. Backpack camping is located at the fire tower (at the center of the Logan Trail, in Tar Hollow State Forest) and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
