We visited the Heritage Centre and Museum which is behind the town hall at the start of our visit to Sudbury and thought it gave a good overview of the history of the town with some interesting information and exhibits.

Jul 19, 2024 · The rich history of East Anglia has filled local museums with treasures, but few relics come close to the grave goods recovered from the Anglo-Saxon ship burial at Sutton Hoo in Suffolk.
Inside Sudbury Heritage Centre. Jan 2018 • Solo. Glad to say this was open on the Saturday morning I visited because it is a treasure house of local history, including interactive screens, flying models of a Zeppelin and World War 2 bombers and the story of 101 Dalmatians and its author.
