The quay near Martha and Humphrey’s cottage is the riverside quay on the Pentillie Estate. In Beyond Paradise Season 1 Episode 2, this is where the boat is moored when Humphrey joins Martha. The Beyond Paradise house filming location is close to Weir Quay Boatyard, so you wouldn’t have to sail far to bring a boat from one to the other.
Look out for Port Eliot House and Gardensin the Death in Paradise spinoff. You can visit the gardens during set hours, and you can even peek inside the Grade I-listed house by pre-booking a tour.
Mar 30, 2024 · Beyond Paradise Season 2 was filmed in the Tamar Valley, Dart Valley, Looe Guildhall, the University of Plymouth, Pentillie Estate, South Devon Railway, Buckfastleigh railway station and Calstock Viaduct. Filming began on 3rd July 2023.
How did we get chosen as a filming location? There are many answers to this: firstly because the Pentillie Estate is utterly beautiful (not at all biased), secondly, it undoubtedly helps that we are central to many of the other locations, and lastly because of a zillion boring practicalities.

Apr 3, 2024 · As it turns out, although the show may be set in Devon, much of the filming actually takes place in the coastal town of Looe in Cornwall. With its picturesque pier, sandy beaches and quaint coastal village, Looe is something of a real-life paradise, making it the perfect backdrop for the hit show.
