   • He lives in San Diego, so Palomar Mountain State Park was a logical choice. I've spent many, many nights camping in my life but this was one of the worst experiences I've had. We had reservations but wouldn't have needed it. I'm sure that going on a Thursday night in September caused the park to be virtually empty.
