Visit Louth Museum, a small, independent, award winning attraction. There are lots of fascinating things in the museum for the more serious historian but also for those who are just looking for an interesting place to visit.
I visited Louth Museum to find out more about it's history. It is a small museum that is packed full of amazing items and has "something for everyone", including young visitors. The staff are so welcoming too. I particularly enjoyed the wooden carved angels displayed upstairs and also the panoramic view of the town painted in the late 1800's .
