- The database is stored in the db/ subdirectory of a Bedrock Edition world. The database path which is passed to the LevelDB API is this directory path, not the path to any file within it. It seems this is also where terrain generation is stored.

I've tried using backups but they're picking up the 'new' version of the launcher. Mine was locked up from the beta testing :/ any help is appreciated! Thanks.
I'd say y lvl 6, y lvl 5 has the most amount of diamonds but you are losing a few diamonds due to bedrock being under you
