   • Lovely but private. Gramercy Park is indeed lovely and quiet - mainly because it is a PRIVATE park with access given only to the 250 people who have keys. You can walk around it and peer in through the fence.There are also some lovely buildings facing the park including the fab New York Arts Club.

   Is Gramercy Square a private park?

   • This is a private park which only those living around Gramercy Square have keys to. Considering it's a private park I expected it to look more impressive through the railings than it did. Maybe it's because I visited in autumn and it's at its best in summer when the flowers are out.
