Film i Väst (English: "Film in West") is a film company located in Trollhättan, Sweden, nicknamed "Trollywood"), founded in 1992 [1] by the Älvsborg County Council. [2] Lars von Trier used its facilities in his movies, such as Dogville and Manderlay.
The facilities include a stage workshop, storage, and an additional gated parking area. Well-equipped production offices as well as make up and dressing rooms are also available on site. Melancholia, Filth and The Commune are examples of recent films that have used the Film Väst studio in Trollhättan.
