Dyker Heights is a predominantly residential neighborhood in the southwest corner of the borough of Brooklyn in New York City. It is on a hill between Bay Ridge , Bensonhurst , Borough Park , and Gravesend Bay .

Nearest public transport is the D at 79th new Utrecht (basically 16/17th ave) or the R at 86th. The busses are pretty spotty and slow. The d is downhill though.. all of dyker is on a ridge so you’ll be walking uphill from any train.
