Feb 6, 2020 · One look at Bree on a map and you’ll see that it has a Medieval street plan, with a ring road that took the place of the ramparts and moat in 1870. The road bears the names of the different sections of the former wall (Witte Torenwal, Grauwe Torenwal, Ter Rivierenwal).
