New research, led by the University of Bristol and supported by the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute, has explored the benefits of meals on wheels from a service providers’ perspective, and the challenges services face, particularly during the pandemic.
Who it is for? This service is for anybody that may need help with meal times. Where it is available? Local service (Knowsley, Liverpool, St Helens, Wirral, Sefton). What it costs: The cost is £3.70 for one meal and a pudding £16 for five meals and five puddings and £22 for seven meals and seven puddings.
