The law subject table uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the discipline. This year’s table includes 257 universities, up from 224 last year.
Harvard University continues to be the best university in the world for studying law, achieving a perfect score in three of the four indicators used to compile the ranking. All of the top nine in this year's ranking are unchanged, with the University of Melbourne rising one place to take 10th. Register today!

Released earlier today, the annual Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings by Subject rates McGill’s Faculty of Law as 17th in the world. It marks the second straight year the Faculty is ranked 17th.
