The Ultra Series (Japanese: ウルトラシリーズ, Hepburn: Urutora Shirīzu), also known as Ultraman, is a Japanese science fiction media franchise owned by Tsuburaya Productions, which began with the television series Ultra Q in 1966 and became an international pop-culture phenomenon.
Ultraman first appeared as the title character alongside his human host Shin Hayata in the 1966 Japanese television series, Ultraman which ran for 39 episodes. Following Ultraman's success, Tsuburaya created another Kyodai hero series still as part of their Ultra Series project, Ultraseven.

Ultraman Great (ウルトラマンG(グレート), Urutoraman Gurēto) is a manga adaption of Ultraman: Towards the Future that was serialized in TV Magazine in 1990 and 1991. It was drawn by manga artist Kazuhiko Shimamoto, who also did the manga adaption for Kamen Rider ZO and the manga Hero Company.
Ultraman Great (ウルトラマンG(グレート)Urutoraman Gurēto) is the main protagonist of Ultraman: Towards the Future Episode. He is the only Ultraman made in Australia, as well as first English-speaking Ultraman, the first Ultra to made outside of Japan.
