Frederick William Green (March 31, 1911 – March 1, 1987) was an American swing jazz guitarist who played rhythm guitar with the Count Basie Orchestra for almost fifty years. Early life and education. Green was born in Charleston, South Carolina on March 31, 1911.
Frederick W. Green was born in Seattle, Washington on November 16, 1946. He graduated from Princeton University in 1969 with a degree in economics. Shortly thereafter, he began a 38-year career on Wall Street. Green's interest in filmmaking dates back to 2003, when he executive produced a documentary on gun control titled Guns & Mothers.
