Apr 15, 2018 · Just paid 660 for a full building survey on a four bedroom house. My buyers had a homebuyers survey done, the surveyor was only here half an hour so I'm not convinced they got their money's worth.
Jan 15, 2021 · Op has said they are doing a FULL refurbished and and having a roof survey, a homebuyers survey will be a complete waste of money. They will uncover more on the refurb than any surveyor will be able to see with his eyes .
Apr 30, 2018 · Is the flat recently converted flat or just a renovation inside? Survey does not look at fitting and fixtures like kitchen bathroom but may spot/flag up problems you never thought of. Personally I would get a home buyers survey because it's a basement flat in an Victorian building.
Great experience would definitely recommend. Great communication from home-surveying from the start, I had informative phone calls and emails beforehand and we received a reasonably priced quote. Paid for and booked in the survey and he went out to the house in a very timely manner, we then received the report the very next day.
