- Robin Williams Shares His Love For Zelda. Most people know Robin Williams from his many film roles. Williams has had plenty of iconic parts, from comedic performances in movies like Mrs. Doubtfire or Aladdin to his more serious work in The Dead Poet's Society.
- Playstation Move Gave Realistic Expectations. The Nintendo Wii's ad campaign may have done a great job showing off motion controls, but many players felt let down by the reality of the console.
- Dead Space 2 Tapped Teenage Rebellion. Dead Space 2 was very much The Empire Strikes Back of its series: slightly better than the original, and the last entry everyone enjoyed.
- New Deal Studios Created A Beautiful Halo 3 Diorama. Halo 2 left players on a massive cliffhanger, with Master Chief claiming he was "finishing [the] fight" before the game cut to black and rolled its credits.
- Dead Island. 2011's Dead Island launched just as advertised, having the player travel around a zombie-infesting tropical getaway overrun by deadly inhabitants.
- Goat Simulator. Another fantastic example of marketing is the Goat Simulator Payday trailer, which was a DLC to the main game mirroring a new heist campaign.
- Halo 3. Much of the Halo community regards its third installment to still be the best in the franchise, and its "Believe" ad in 2009 is certainly equal in quality.
- Gears Of War. Back in 2011, the original Gears of War dropped a cinematic trailer for its exclusive Xbox 360 launch, set to Gary Jules' rendition of Mad World.
