I've tried getting it out of google maps and also cad mapper but it's no where near this quality. I've seen the guys also selling city map data for like $300+ so I'm really hoping you know of somewhere better.
I'm very proud of this one. I put in just over 46 hours worth of design work into this map. It turned out much nicer than I thought it would and I'm very satisfied with it. Hope you like it! The frame is 13" by 13". Quick question for you guys as well. The last two pictures show the two different backgrounds I have.
I tend to start off by looking at the most dense part of downtown. Then I'll size the map to get a good scale that'll work well for 3D printing. If the map covers too much of the area, the buildings will be too small and wont keep much of the detail that was put in.
