I've been playing around with as many of the 3d map makers as I can coming out on patreon, steam or elsewhere. There are so many now, that it can be hard to sort through, and I haven't seen one of these posted so I thought I'd share my results.

Diabotical has an excellent map editor. It allows you to create level geometry by just pushing in and pulling out faces, which allows for really quick and intuitive blocking out of arenas. It's also pretty deep and runs in-engine. Comparable to UT editors I think, but a lot easier.
