Upgrade your pickaxe (bring 5 bars of the respective metal to Clint and pay him, the first upgrade is copper, then iron, then gold, then iridium) and get them! You don't strictly need to upgrade your pick, but the higher level the pick, the less hits the rocks will need to break, saves energy AND time.
