Jul 12, 2023 · Progress continues to be made at Guelph Central Station as Metrolinx looks to go full speed ahead with two-way all day GO train service. However, there is still no firm timeline of when the service will become reality.
May 10, 2024 · Metrolinx has confirmed construction of a second platform at Guelph Central Station has been completed. A spokesperson said the new south platform – which took just over a year to build – will not be open to commuters "until the south track is constructed in the future."
