Booking your Degree Ceremony. University of Oxford degrees are conferred at degree ceremonies, held in the Sheldonian Theatre. You may graduate in person or in absence, either straight after you've finished your degree, or many years later.
Any degree can be conferred at the ordinary Degree Congregations normally held on Saturdays two or three times each term. The four Congregations at the end of June called General Admission are for the BTh, BA, VetMB and BA with MEng or MMath or MSci degrees only.

- Blessings for the Graduates. Heavenly Father, we offer our gratitude for the achievements of these graduates. Bless them with success, fulfillment, and joy in all their future endeavors.
- A Prayer for Academic Achievement. Gracious God, we thank You for the gift of education and the accomplishments of these graduates. Grant them the ability to use their knowledge for the greater good and to make a positive impact on the world.
- Guidance for the Graduating Class. Lord, as these graduates step into a new chapter of life, we seek Your guidance. Lead them in paths of righteousness, and may they find fulfillment in their chosen paths.

During the ceremony. Location: St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Castle Street, Buckingham, MK18 1BS. Graduands will be given a seat number when they sign-in, it’s important that you sit in the right seat as this is the order that names are called. Ceremonies usually last about an hour.
