    Date A Live (デート・ア・ライブ, Dēto A Raibu?) is the anime adaptation of the Japanese light novel series of the same name, Date A Live. Currently, the series has had four seasons of anime adaptions, with a fifth having been announced. The Anime can be watched on Crunchyroll, Apple TV, Tubi, and Prime Video.

    The first anime adaption. It is directed by Keitaro Motonaga and produced by AIC PLUS+. It began streaming on Niconico on March 31 and started being broadcasted on TV on April 6, 2013. The opening theme is titled Date A Live sung by Sweet ARMS, a group consisting Iori Nomizu, Misuzu Togashi, Misato & Kaori Sadohara. The ending theme for episode 1 is titled "Hatsukoi Winding Road" sung by Ririko (voiced by Kayoko Tsumita), childhood friend (voiced by Risako Murai), and upperclassman (voiced by Midori Tsukimiya), the characters from Date A Live's in-universe galge, Fall in Love: My Little Seed. For episode 2 and 3 and onwards, the ending theme is sung by Iori Nomizu titled "Save The World" and "Save My Heart" respectively.

    The OVA of the anime's first season is released along with Light Novel Volume 9.

    The second season of the anime, titled as "Date A Live Ⅱ" or "Date A Live 2", was announced after the end of the first season, where a short teaser trailer was showed the Yamai sisters, Miku, Ellen, Westcott, Shido with Sandalphon, and Tohka in her inverse form.

    During the DATE A Fes event on October 6, 2013, new voice actors were announced: Maaya Uchida and Sara Emi Bridcutt will voice Kaguya and Yuzuru Yamai respectively, Chihara Minori will voice Miku Izayoi, Shizuka Itō will voice Ellen Mira Mathers, and Ryōtarō Okiayu will voice Isaac Westcott.

    Taking over from AIC +, this season was produced by Production IMS, which was made up of most of the staff in charge of season 1. It was directed by Keitaro Motonaga, who also directed the anime's first season. The season started airing on April 11th 2014 and finished on June 13, 2014 with 10 episodes. The opening for the second season is "Trust in you", sung by sweet ARMS, and the ending is "Day to Story", sung by Kaori Sadohara.

    The OVA of the anime's second season is released along with the limited edition copy of Encore 3.

    A third season of the anime titled as "Date A Live Ⅲ" or "Date A Live 3", was produced by JC Staff and started airing on January 11th 2019. The opening for the third season is "I Swear", sung by sweet ARMS, and the ending is "Last Promise", sung by Eri Yamazaki.

    A fourth season of the anime titled as "Date A Live IV", or "Date A Live 4", was be produced by Geek Toys and was scheduled to air on October 2021, but was then delayed to April 8th 2022, and finished airing on June 24th, 2022.     At the end of season 2 of the anime, a movie was announced. During the events of Date A Fes II, it was announced that the movie was released during Summer 2015 and was titled Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement.

    The movie has been released in a number of countries, with the Blu-ray and DVD released on February 26, 2016.
