Mass Effect 3 Leviathan Story discussion - why? I played the leviathan DLC for the first time through ME legendary yesterday, and while I liked the mystery element of it in the beginning, the big reveal was a bit underwhelming. This feels like a total repeat of the quarian/geth storyline.

To access the Leviathan DLC, check Commander Shepard's email on the Normandy. There will be an email from Admiral Hackett prompting a visit to the Citadel to meet with Dr. Bryson. When arriving at the Citadel, there will now be an option to go directly to Dr. Bryson's laboratory.

After receiving this email from Admiral Hackett, head over to the Citadel to meet Dr. Bryson. Talk with him and his assistant, until issues arise.
After investigating the lab, and applying filters to the lab's galaxy map, determine that Dr. Bryson's assistant, Dr. Garneau, is located at the Caleston Rift, specifically on Mahavid, an asteroid. Before leaving, make sure to grab all of the Weapon Modifications that are in the lab.
First, scan for Mahavid, so you know where to go. After landing on the dig site, and fixing the elevator with the repair drone, make your way to the crew quarters. Once there, work towards the medical bay, where you will meet Dr. Garneau. Give chase after he starts to run. After rescuing the research assistants, head back to the Citadel.
Once back in Dr. Bryson's lab, do some more investigating and research. It seems that there is a strange artifact that has a way of indoctrinating people, but it isn't Reaper tech. It seems that Bryson has a daughter who is working on figuring everything all out. Go find and meet up with her on the planet of Namakli in the Plyos Nebula.

Arguably the coolest bit of lore for Leviathan, is only available in the multiplayer. After Leviathan takes control and blocks the Reaper indoctrination signals, it actually releases several Collectors from Reaper control. They become avatars of vengeance, fueled by the collective memories of the Prothean people. EDIT: Fixed the spoiler tag.
