For all domestic students in the United States, Columbia University recommends online payment through our secure payment portal. Using QuikPAY. Make online payments that debit a U.S. bank account (with U.S. address) 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the secure online billing website QuikPAY (powered by Nelnet).
The fall semester bill is available in August and will be due approximately 5–6 weeks later; the spring semester bill is available in mid-December and is due approximately 5–6 weeks later. Unpaid bills will prevent students from timely class registration and may generate a late payment fee. Payment Options
Columbia bills students for tuition, fees, and other charges at the beginning of each term. Payment is due by the date listed on the Student Account Statement, which is available in Student Services Online (SSOL).
Billing is by semester, and SFS will send your bill (a/k/a term invoice) to your Columbia email address (your UNI) a month prior to the beginning of the start of the term. You may view your bill at any time on https://ssol.columbia.edu/ To see when your bill is due, please go to the billing schedules page
Student Financial Services expects to email the first Fall term E-Bill on August 12 and the balance will be due on September 20. Please see their website for the billing schedule. The E-Bill represents your account activity as of the day the bill is generated. After this date, you can view your current student account activity using SSOL.
