Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium is an American football stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia, on the campus of West Virginia University. It opened in 1980 and serves as the home field for the West Virginia Mountaineers football team.

Sep 9, 2021 · For the first time since Nov. 23, 2019, Milan Puskar Stadium is hosting a West Virginia football game without COVID-19 capacity restrictions as the stadium is set for 100% capacity against Long Island on Saturday at 5 p.m.
The stadium also acts as a home to the West Virginia Mountaineers NCAA Division I FBS football team. Its exact location is in Morgantown, on the health sciences campus of West University. The original Mountaineer Field was located on the school’s main campus.
The stadium eventually grew in capacity to its peak of 38,000 by 1979. The physical location of the stadium made it impossible for further expansion to take place, however, and led to the relocation of the football program to the new Mountaineer Field in 1980. The old stadium was razed in 1987.
Multi-million dollar facelifts took place on the east side in 2016 and west side in 2017, widening the concourses and constructing entrance gates, as well as adding and modernizing the concession venues and restroom facilities.
