• 9 mo. ago. You’re getting confused by things here. PAL is a colour encoding standard, not a frame rate. The majority of the world uses 50Hz power, so lighting is at 50Hz. Naturally then the cameras are set to 50i or 25p. Video games are irrelevant to broadcast standards.
