Welcome to the Millennium Gate Museum, the second largest classical monument in the USA, located in the heart of Atlanta. Opened in 2008, the museum preserves and interprets Georgia history, art, culture and philanthropic heritage.
The arch is the pet project of Rodney Mims Cook Jr., whose local pedigree extends back to the 1830s—before Atlanta’s founding as a railway terminus.

The Gate was birthed and is today managed by the National Monuments Foundation, which is also known for the World Athletes Monument in Pershing Point dedicated to competitors of the 1996 Olympics.
