The programme debuted on BBC Two (during the CBBC programming block) on 31 March 1997. In the United States, the original series was syndicated on PBS from April 6, 1998 to September 10, 2004. The rebooted series aired instead on the Nick Jr. Channel from May 30, 2016, to August 17, 2018.
