Robot Wars: The Sixth Wars (also referred to as Series 6) was the sixth series of the British television game show Robot Wars. It was originally broadcast in 2002 on BBC Choice (with a special episode shown a few months later in 2003) and repeated from 2002 to 2003 on BBC Two.
The original run of the show consisted of six series broadcast on BBC Two from 20 February 1998 to 4 October 2002 (though the fifth and sixth series originally aired on BBC Choice), followed by a seventh series broadcast on Channel 5 from 2 November 2003 to 7 March 2004.

The show was originally broadcast on BBC Two on Friday evenings for the first four series, moving to BBC Choice on weekday evenings for the fifth and sixth series and both series of Extreme, with all four series being repeated on BBC Two in its regular Friday timeslot shortly after the original broadcast.
The Sixth Wars The series consists of twelve heats featuring eight robots each. In a departure from Series 5, the first rounds of each heat consist of two four-way melees, similar to the eliminators of Series 4, with two robots from each melee progressing to the second round, consisting of one-on-one battles.

- Roadblock. Featured in: Seasons 1 to 2. Weight: 80kg. Speed: 5mph. Weapons. – Wedge-shaped design. – Petrol-powered rear circular saw. Claim to fame. The very first winner of Robot Wars, it proved that simple design could trump even the biggest of weapons.

Robot Wars: The Sixth Wars was filmed in July 2002 in a big disused aircraft hangar at RAF Newton, Bingham, near Nottingham. Improvements for the Sixth Wars. The Sixth Wars is the best series ever beating all the previous wars. The show has now eliminated most of their previous problems and it is nearly perfect now. It is full of action.
