- AFC East. Bills (12-5) Patriots (9-8) Dolphins (9-8) Jets (4-13) There is no division with a more clear frontrunner in the NFL. In only 19 percent of simulations did the Bills not win the AFC East.
- AFC North. Ravens (11-6) Bengals (10-7) Browns (8-9) Steelers (6-11) Another team goes worst to first. It will be a bit of a different story for the Ravens than it was for the Bengals, as it was largely due to injuries for Baltimore in 2021 that held them back to finishing 8-9 and tying with the Browns for last in the AFC North.
- AFC South. Colts (10-7) Titans (9-8) Jaguars (5-12) Texans (5-12) The addition of Matt Ryan might not seem like a huge deal, but it clearly makes a world of difference for the Colts.
- AFC West. Chargers (11-6) Chiefs (10-7) Broncos (10-7) Raiders (8-9) The best division in the NFL is currently projected to be led by the team that made the most improvements to its roster in the past offseason.
- AFC East. 1. * Bills: 13-4. 2. * Patriots: 10-7 3. Dolphins: 8-9 4. Jets: 5-12. AFC East bold prediction: Josh Allen wins MVP. Allen finished second in the MVP voting last year in a season where he was just starting to scratch the surface of what he can do in the NFL and I think he's only going to be better this year.
- AFC North. 1. * Steelers: 10-7. 2. * Browns: 10-7 3. Ravens: 10-7 4. Bengals: 7-10. AFC North bold prediction: Ravens miss the playoffs. The AFC is so loaded this year that I think we're going to see a 10-win team miss the playoffs and unfortunately for everyone in Baltimore, I think it's going to be the Ravens.
- AFC South. 1. * Titans: 10-7 2. Colts: 9-8 3. Jaguars: 4-13 4. Texans: 3-14. AFC South bold prediction: Trevor Lawrence sets single-season rookie record for most TD passes.
- AFC West. 1. * Chiefs: 14-3. 2. * Chargers: 10-7 3. Raiders: 9-8 4. Broncos: 8-9. AFC West bold prediction: Chiefs finish with the best record in the NFL, but don't win the Super Bowl.
