MGS1 is still best played in a PS1 emulator just so you don't have to bother with the keyboard during Psycho Mantis, and the original MSX Metal Gear games can be played with official translations in RPCS3 or PCSX2 with MGS3, so there's no point in dabbling with the MSX emulator.
