On July 15, 1964, MCA established the Studio Tour, which provided guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of film and television production at Universal Studios. This established a footprint of what is now known as Universal Studios Hollywood theme park.
Their hours are seasonal. They’ll be open till 10 during summer months and some winter weekends if they have something going on. If not it’s they close early. If you get there before noon though you can get through everything. The park is usually pretty empty anyways, especially on weekdays.
