Sep 14, 2013 · Bedrock Edition has been in development since August 16, 2011, and was called Minecraft: Pocket Edition at the time. Bedrock Edition was in Alpha until November 18, 2016, when the game was fully released.

Hardcore mode is now fully released. This mode locks player's game mode to Survival, locks difficulty to hard, and disables cheats. Players only have one life in Hardcore mode, if you die, you cannot respawn, only spectate. Players hitting the edge of the generated world will keep their velocity.
Oct 24, 2024 · Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.25 is out now for all compatible devices. The update brings a host of features to the Pale Garden ahead of its release with the upcoming Winter Drop.
